Blog #1: Pre-Project
My project is a structured internship, so I will be interning with someone who works with safe pediatric imaging-related advanced technological development. Ravi Srinivasan, the president of Sree Medical Systems, will teach me about what he does and his process of creating different pediatric imaging machines. I have always liked math and science more than English and history. Growing up I wanted to be a veterinarian because I loved animals. As I got older and thought about what I wanted to major in college, I knew I wanted to do something related to the medical field and something that makes an impact on people, but I didn’t think I wanted to be a veterinarian anymore. My dad told me being an engineer is a good career to have and it also interested me, so I started looking at the different fields of engineering.
